This Chris Brown/Rihanna situation

If you haven't heard about the Chris Brown/Rihanna incident, you must be blind or deaf or have fallen off the face of the Earth without your computer/television. Well, for those of us that do know, let me ask this. Why has the public decided that we can snoop into these people's business and claim sides? I'm not saying that I'm taking a side, because to be honest, there really shouldn't be any "sides". Also, I'm sure you've seen the pictures of Rihanna after the alleged assault. It disappoints me that everyone is so involved in their personal business that they flock to find out everything about this incident. I mean, of course the fans will support Rihanna, but I think some people have gotten a little to obsessive about this. That's all I'm saying.
